Armed with a Mathematics degree, Sheershak Anand ventured into film making and learnt the craft on the job. Having an experience of more than 20 years in film making & electronic media, his expertise ranges from writing, directing and editing films. This includes Feature films, TVC’s, Corporate films,Documentaries, Channel packaging and AV’s.
He also possesses a bank of more than 100 songs as a Lyricist (Hindi).
To his credit are more than 70 promos for the 24 hours Hindi news channel AAJ TAK. His credits include conceptualising including writing of the Hindi copy lines for the promos, editing and packaging them.
He has also conceptualised & edited television spots for UNICEF for conventions in the US. Directed & edited a number of corporate films and AV’s.
As a writer he’s quite versatile and has done varied forms of writing which includes penning screenplays for feature films, writing for TV shows, web series, radio spots, animation series, educational videos, copy lines, songs etc.
Both Shantanu & Sheershak ventured into feature film making in 2009 and the duo have been writing and directing feature films since then.
