After working in three different continents, Australia, Europe and North America as a, Writer, Director, Line Producer, Events Manager and Producer, Shantanu Ray finally decided to come to the city of magic, Mumbai.
He is credited for writing the Libretto for the Opera, Śakuntalā.
His credits include collaboration with Australian Soprano Goknur Shanal assinger, songwriter (Hindi) for the AFTRS film The Tree.
Also worked with the Indian Film Industry, Line Producing and Production Managing, with Film And Casting Temple, Sydney, many Hindi and regional films, notable amongst them, Dil Chahta Hai, Soldier, Prem Aggan, Aap Mujhay Achcha Lagnay lagae, Hadd Kar Di Aapne,Pyar Koi Khel Nahi, Dil Hee Dil Mein, Balakrishan Babu.
Shantanu has also worked as production coordinator (Australian Crew) on
Mission Impossible 2, Matrix, Star Wars – The Phantom Menace.
Has directed and written documentaries, short films and corporate films.
